Jacques Jean-Pierre mieux connu sous le nom de Jackovic, est un musicien
haïtien. Il est considéré comme l'un des pionniers du groupe ADONAIsingers.
Son style s'oriente plus particulièrement vers les tendances suivantes : Compas, Raggae, R'n'B et Jazz. L'histoire de Jackovic a commencé en 1994.
Né le 15 juillet 1982 à Port-au-Prince,
Il a commencé sa carrière musicale à l’âge de 12 ans. En 1994, Il avait participé
au projet d'album titré: ''L'amour est Merveilleux'' en faveur de la Fondation Cœur pour Haïti, dont Johan Smoorenburg était le producteur exécutif, avec la
participation de Joël Lorquet ainsi que les Enfants de Coeur pour Haïti.

En 1995, il commence
avec la batterie ainsi que son ami Dieuseul Morency. Alors qu’ils étaient tous
les deux adolescents. Quatre ans plus tard, il a laissé la batterie pour
apprendre à jouer la trompette ; mais pour lui, c’était juste une folie. Enfin,
il s’est rendu compte que la batterie était sa passion.
Puis, en 2008, il a été contacté
par Johan Smoorenburg dit « Papi Jean » pour un projet avec d’autres
artistes comme Jean Joseph Wilkens, Wilcie Jean etc...
Malheureusement, il pensait n’avoir rien tiré de ce projet et il découvre qu’un an après
la sortie de l’album, il a fait une explosion terrible sur le marché international.
Sans doute l’année 2010 était son année
il croyait pouvoir lancer quelques tubes sur les ondes des stations de
la capitale mais, malheureusement son pays a connu un tremblement de terre
crustial d’une magnitude de 7.0 à 7.3 survenu le 12 janvier 2010 à 16 heures 53
minutes, heure locale.
Il est en train de travailler nuit et jour
sur un projet qu’il chérissait depuis très longtemps et, il espère publier l’album,
très bientôt avec son groupe tant aimé « ADONAIsingers »
